1.Masters degree in Geophysics with not less than 50% marks. In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, Masters Degree in any branch of Physics with not less than 50 % marks

In the absence of candidates possessing the above qualification, Masters Degree in Physics in any branch other than Geophysics with not less than 50% marks shall be considered subject to the condition that they shall undergo training in Geophysical investigations or logging techniques, Ground Water Prospecting in any Government Organisation.
