Qualifications: 

1. Educational Qualifications:
   Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification
2. Physical fitness:
   (a) Must have at least 165 cm height and must be minimum 81.3 cms round the chest on fullexhalation and must have a chest expansion of 5 cms

   A height of 160 cm will be sufficient for the candidates belonging to SC. The above
   conditions regarding chest measurements will be applicable for SC candidates also.
   (b)Eye sight:- 
   Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.
