Qualifications
Essential
- A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination or a pass in the educational Test of the Indian Navy.
- Must possess Survey Recorder class II qualification of the Hydrographic Survey Branch of the Indian Navy or Diploma in Civil Engineering issued by the Government of Kerala or any recognized Board of Public Examination.
Preferential
Experience in reputed drawing office preferably connected with Chart Drawing.
The following Institutions are competent to issue the experience certificate in Chart Drawing.
- Hydrographic Service of the Indian Navy.
- Hydrographic Survey Wing of the Government of Kerala.
- Survey Organisation of the Ministry of Transport, Government of India.
- Hydrographic Survey Organisation of the Maritime states in India.
- Hydrographic Survey Organisation of the Major ports in India.
