Diploma in Civil Engineering of the Kerala University or Diploma recognised by Government as equivalent thereto. In addition to the above, in the case of Second Grade Overseers/Draftsman, Third Grade Overseers / Tracers , Clerks, Typist, Typist – Clerk and Confidential Assistants they should have rendered not less than 2 years service in the respective categories in the Public Works Department.
